Final Project

I'm going to do a web site about my travel experiences. The site will cover some personal information about myself. It will cover my major destinations such as Barcelona, California and New Mexico (or maybe just the US ones). I will do a short introduction for each destinations and add pictures I have taken when I was there. The third mode will be a collection of videos I did when I was in California.

The project will be informal. The pics are my personal private ones and so are the videos.

Thesis: Created as a business tool, MS Outlook expanded its audience over the years. Nowadays, it helps me remember events and organizes my emails the way I like it.

Medium Analysis - 1st Ideas

I’m really not sure what kind of a medium I’m going to choose form y medium analysis. I first thought facebook.com would be a good idea. I click on this site more than 10 times a day I bet. Since facebook is pretty popular among students, a lot of people are likely to choose it for their essay.

Therefore, I thought about choosing a software application, namely Microsoft Outlook. I love this program and I use it for almost everything. I’ve all my email accounts set up, address book, calendar, notes…everything. We’ll see.

Digital Native or Digital Immigrant

I'm totally a digital native. One day back at my German college, a group of people were about to do a powerpoint presentation. They had it all set up but simply didn't know how to put the laptop screen on the projector.

Another good example is my grandma. She is still excited about this caller IDs. So everytime she calls me, I answer the phone with "hey grandma" and she freaks out: "Oh my God, how do you know it's me?! Oooh right, the caller ID thing..."
